Naza Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd (commonly known as Naza EC) is the engineering and construction arm of the Property Division of Naza Group of Companies. It was established to support the Group’s expansion in property development and infrastructure by providing in-house construction, civil engineering, and project management capabilities. Headquartered in Selangor, Malaysia, Naza EC operates as a CIDB Grade 7 contractor, which qualifies it to undertake large-scale and complex construction projects across the country.
The company is involved in a wide range of activities that include civil and structural engineering works, general contracting, project management, and design-and-build or turnkey projects. Its portfolio covers infrastructure such as roads and bridges as well as major commercial and high-rise developments. One of its most recognised projects is Naza Tower at Platinum Park, Kuala Lumpur, which has received industry awards and reflects the company’s capability in delivering landmark developments.

Malaysian Construction Industry Excellence Awards
In 2022, Naza Engineering and Construction Sdn Bhd received the Best Project award for major buildings exceeding RM100 million at the Malaysian Construction Industry Excellence Awards (MCIEA).
The award recognized Naza Tower, a 50-storey office building within the 3.68-hectare mixed-use development Platinum Park, a RM4 billion project located adjacent to the Petronas Twin Towers. Naza Tower is a Grade A office building offering 505,930 sq ft of net lettable space.
Accredited by the Green Building Index, Naza Tower is the third office building in Platinum Park developed by the Naza Group, alongside Menara Felda and Menara TH. Its most striking feature is a helical design that gives the appearance of the building twisting skyward. The building’s core is a cylindrical concrete structure that allows natural daylight to penetrate interior spaces, reducing energy consumption.
Despite being relatively new in the construction industry, Naza Engineering and Construction leverages a team with diverse experience and expertise, providing a solid foundation for growth and the capability to undertake mega-scale projects.
Mino Best Project Award at the 17th Road Engineering Association of Asia and Australasia (REAAA) Conference
The Bagan Datuk Bridge construction project, valued at RM446.9 million, earned the MINO Best Project Award for Naza Engineering and Construction, highlighting the company’s capability in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects. The project successfully links Daerah Bagan Datuk with Daerah Perak Tengah and Daerah Manjung across Sungai Perak, significantly improving regional connectivity.
Since its completion, the bridge has benefited the local community by reducing travel time between Bagan Datuk and Kampung Sejagop in Perak Tengah district from one hour to just 15 minutes, positively impacting approximately 70,300 residents.
Naza EC’s scope of work included the construction of a 1.5 km single-lane main bridge built to R5 standards over Sungai Perak, an 8.7 km single-lane approach road, installation of road furniture, land acquisition, development of irrigation and sewerage systems, and relocation of utilities.
The bridge has since accommodated up to 7,500 vehicles daily, according to the Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA), improving traffic flow, enhancing safety, and supporting the economic development of the surrounding regions. The project stands as a testament to Naza EC’s commitment to engineering excellence and delivering infrastructure that creates tangible benefits for communities.
